Geography

I was trying to express an abstract thought to some friends at a party last night. I can only remember a fragment of it – something about women reminding me of 4th grade geometry, when I learned about countries for the first time, that the first knowledge of a country’s boundaries existed in space innocent of imperialism, war and other unpleasant details learned later. Somehow I was relating the women’s bodies at the party in their beauty to the innocence of 4th grade geometry.

No one understood me, but it’s probably as simple as beautiful outlines belonging to both.
